Baseball Season begins on Monday!

In the spirit of baseball, summer, warm summer nights, fun in the sun, mojitos, and the celebration of the end of school. I wanted to start off the season with a post on sportsmanship that I stole copied borrowed from my good pal Headless Mom 's blog. (I don't call her that, she came up with it herself)

All of you parents out there who have children of any age in sports need to read this (ladies and gents get out your tissues for this one) .

When you are done reading ask yourself this: "Would my child do this?" "Is sportsmanship still part of the game?" "Am I one of those parents who models less than ideal behavior on and off the field?"

I'll be watching and listening this season and reporting back here, I hope I don't see YOU and YOUR kiddos on here!

  1. Amen, Sister! I think my HB1 would do this, and probably HB2. But of course, they're still young.

    Thanks for the shout out!

  2. OMGosh! TEARS, STREAMING....I didn't listen...I didn't get a tissue...I'm glad I don't have any make up on, because I would look like well...Tammy Fae!

Headless mom sent me (which was perfect--I needed the giggles), so I've been lurking (though your most recent post is about lurking). LOL -

But this one, wow! Talk about wonderful. It is so nice to see that there is such a thing as good sportsmanship STILL! :)

Take care, I've got some reading to do!
