Right now I am sitting next to Headless mom (yup, right on her comfy couch)! We have known one another since 5th grade and we she is now 39+1. That's a lot of years peeps! As I type she is over there on her super cool new laptop (I'm on the edge about to jump to Apple's side!). We are reading blogs side by side. Yesterday we laughed over notes we wrote in 7th and 8th grade. (apparently I had foul language, poor grades and boys on my mind) I also had some moments of clarity, insight and good advice. Crazy how we turned out so normal. So fun. So happy.
How many friends do you have where you could just announce you are tired and are going to go take a nap? Pour yourself a glass of milk? Help yourself to the Halloween candy? (um Headless, it's time to get rid of the Halloween candy)
It feels like High School again after a sleepover...I'm tired, but I'm relaxed and just as at home here as at my own home.
Thanks Headless for the hospitality and it was great to get to spend time with your folks, your kiddos, and your one handed master chef hubby. Let's make this a yearly tradition!?
